HART MIDDLE SCHOOL DAY CAMP
FELLOWSHIP CIVIC CENTER (FCC DAY CAMP) Camp Director: Phil Hartsfield This camp is for 6 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. Campers are involved in daily camp activities such as: Arts/crafts, ceramics, in-house movies, swimming, chess, quiet games and other recreational activities. Campers experience trips to PNC Art Center, Sandy Hook National Park, County and State fairs, Keansburg Amusement Park, the movie theater and Stokes State Forrest. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. JR. HIGH CAMP This camp is for 6 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. The camp is an out growth of the Travel Day Camp; the camp introduces these teens to the matured aspect of Travel Day Camp. Campers enjoy college tours in the surrounding community and have speakers come in to speak about their future. At the end of camp, the campers are taken to a restaurant and must dress for success. Each camper will receive a t-shirt.
TRAVEL DAY CAMP This camp is for 6 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. Each week campers depart from a different city park taking campers out of the city and state to various places such as: The Museum of Natural History, Hayden Planetarium, Apollo Theater, Mystic Seaport, Quassy Amusement Park, Philly Zoo, Franklin Mint, Sandy Hook National Park, Island Beach State Park, PNC Art Center, Lake Tomahawk, movie theater and Eagle Rock Bowling Lanes. Each camper will receive a t-shirt.
Camp Director: Joy Mills This camp is for 6 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. These camps are located at 4 sites - Elmwood Park, Gordon Park Trailers, Columbian Park and Hart Middle School. The camp includes introduction to arithmetic, English, reading, arts/crafts, music and physical education, field trips to PNC Art Center, Newark Museum, Sandy Hook National Park, County and State fairs, Lake Tomahawk and Bellclair Bowling Lanes. Camp ends with a big cookout in the part, pony rides, face painting, games and a magic show. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Pre- and After-care available
CHEERING/DOUBLE DUTCH CAMP Camp Director: Margaret Scott This camp is for 6 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. Campers are given instructions in cheerleading, dance, aerobics, gymnastics, double Dutch and pyramid building while promoting SAFETY. There are 11 sites. There are 2 competitions, Double Dutch and Cheering/Dance. Trophies and ribbons are given at each of the tournaments. Each camper will receive a t-shirt.
CO-ED BASKETBALL CAMP Camp Director: Janice Walker This camp is for 6 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. Campers will be instructed in the fundamentals of basketball. Games and drills daily. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Special activities: WNBA game and fieldtrips.
