On Friday, January 1, 2010 Mayor Robert L. Bowser and the East Orange City Council members invite residents to share in the City’s 2010 Swearing-In and Re-organizational activities. The day’s activities will begin with a City-Wide Inter-faith Service at 10:00 AM, which will be held at St. Paul AME Church located at 15-21 Sanford Street in East Orange. The Swearing in Ceremony and Re-Organization of the City Council will be held at the Cicely Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts located at 35 Winans Street at 12:00 PM. We will conclude the day with a reception in Tyson School Gymnasium, immediately following the Ceremonies.
