City of East Orange Provides a FREE Dental Clinic

The Department of Health and Human Services maintains a dental clinic open to all East Orange residents, and is preparing for the upcoming 2008-09 school year by reminding the public that screenings will be available starting in August. Parents may bring their school-aged children who do not have dental insurance or Medicaid to 143 New Street (behind City Hall) for free dental screenings, education and preventative care. Office hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. In addition, screenings are also conducted in school sites throughout the school year.  Please call for an appointment at (973) 266-5477.
