The City of East Orange Recognizes National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness & Information Day
The City of East Orange invites you to join in the 2nd Annual Observance and Candlelight Ceremony in recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness & Information Day. The program will be at the East Orange City Hall, Council Chambers located at 44 City Hall Plaza, on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 5:30 PM.
This important observance day is to educate and inform African Americans about HIV/AIDS and its devastating effect on the African American communities, and to remember those infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Come out and bring the family to learn, and support the efforts to mobilize this threatening disease. HIV/AIDS is PREVENTABLE, and treatable. Learn the importance of getting testing, early detection, and living with HIV/AIDS.
